Absolutely!! Well said. From what I've noticed, even though each European country can differ wildly in culture, etc., there (at least to me) seems to be more of a shared identity as a "European" vs a "North American," which semantically really just means the US and Canada. Maybe because everyone travels so much and so freely between EU nations? (Whereas in America, the average person doesn't travel as much as the average European.)

Just an observation! I could be wrong ahah

P.S. I love Portugal and headed back next year! hopefully I can learn the language. :)
