Thanks for your comment! And yeah, I've debated the same exact things. Sadly, in my travels, I don't always have the freedom to choose that kind of gym since it's not always an option. But yeah, if I could, a smaller boutique style gym (where are you know the owner and the members) is really the way to go. To me, it's completely worth the marginally higher prices.
